Hey guys,

I am wondering how likely some of the distances reported by adsl2exchanges.com.au are to be correct. I am looking at a property in Calvert, QLD. This site shows that the exchange is in Grandchester, some 5.3 km away. Would that mean that there is copper laid all the way between those two towns? Or is there a fibre point or something. I'm not sure, I'm fairly new to this.

I understand that 5.3km doesnt do much for your ADSL2+ speeds, so I'm hoping there is something I'm missing :S

Thanks

Hi Noah,

It depends on if you are entering your address or telephone number. The telephone number search is a better indication.

As the site does not query your line, it is only an estimate as to the expected speed and likely distance of your line.

Cheers.

An exchange is implemented for the utility of the offers for the people. The consumption of the exchange and boom essays reviews is inflicted for the individuals. All the environmental imparting knowledge is flown for the goodness of the people. The change is preferred for the arguments and all benefits of the bloggers for the people.
