Was there a reason for them going away? Copyright? Too much bandwidth? Or dare I suggest Terrorism? |

Why does Telstra put massive signs up saying "Batman Telephone Exchange" at the front if they don't want people to know what they are? They wouldn't be that much of a target, because if you take down a telephone exchange, you might effect 10,000 phone lines (most of those people have mobiles anyway). It wouldn't be too high on the target list for anyone. |

ChAdWiCk writes.. Why does Telstra put massive signs up saying "Batman Telephone Exchange" at the front if they don't want people to know what they are? I figured the same. They are well known locations, usually behind or beside a Post Office for ones that are of decent size. ChAdWiCk writes.. It wouldn't be too high on the target list for anyone. I certainly agree there... And anyone who wanted to target one would not need a photo of the exterior anyway. They can just go take their own damn photos. I'm putting my money on some threat was made by Telstra, possibly using the excuse of either terrorism or their logo copyright. |
