Are Optus still rolling out their ADSL2+ gear into new exchanges? I read that they had reached their DSL Direct target last year.

I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like they have stopped. They will be upgrading their existing ones. Telstra has stopped rolling out their ADSL2+ network.

Hoping for Mornington VIC (MORN) to be enabled. I noticed a new Optus 'yes' shop pop up in the last week here, and wondering if it's an indication they would be bringing in ADSL2+

Do you still get coverage reports from Optus?

Cheers
Shaun.

Hi Shaun,

Yes we do. However they have never indicated "possible" builds.

As I said, I don't expect they will be rolling out any new DSLAM's in the near future due to the uncertainty of the NBN.
